There are no giant monkeys (I think), and the only thing that's truly everywhere is the presence of God...but my kids laugh when I say it.

It's Giveaway Time!
Made you look! No, I am not giving anything away this time, but I will point you to a cool website that's giving away a signed copy of Mark Driscoll's Death by Love. All you have to do is post a comment publicly thanking someone who has helped you on your Christian journey. It's a great excuse to say "Thanks!" to someone who's made your path straighter while having a chance to win what looks like a great book. Win-win!
Just want you to know - as if you didn't already - that my spiritual journey is indeed where it is because in great part because of you. Thanks for bearing with me.
I started this blog just to have a vehicle to write. I don't expect anyone to read it, really. Sometimes I write about stuff that's on my mind, sometimes it's just family anecdotes. If you happen to read the blog, I hope you're not too bored, and I really hope you're not offended by anything (unless Christianity offends you, and then I hope that your comments would be civil as you disagree).
The title is a silly thing I say to my kids for no reason at all.
I am the very blessed husband of the most wonderful woman in the world and father of the three most amazing monkeys ever loaned by God. I live in northern Colorado and love the life God has allowed me to live here. I am studying pastoral ministry and work for a healthcare company. I love fellowship with our church, reading (theology, history, contemporary issues, news, good fiction and non-fiction), fishing, hiking, camping, and especially being with my family.
Cheers!

I said because too much. Sorry.
Proofreading is a luxury when you have a princess tugging on your arms.
